The Sela Coat is a true work of art, blending timeless craftsmanship with modern wearability. Inspired by textile traditions dating back to the Indus Valley civilization (1500 BC), each jacket is created using the ancient technique of hand-stitched Kantha.
Every piece requires extraordinary dedication: over 20 hours of meticulous hand sewing by a single artisan. From carefully cutting two identical panels of fabric, to stitching the outer edges, to layering rows of delicate Kantha embroidery, each step is a testament to skill and patience. Once the embroidery is complete, the jacket is reassembled and finished with refined tailoring.
The result is a one-of-a-kind coat that carries history in every thread.
